What is the earliest I can Check-in?

Standard check-in time is 2pm. Please call us if you would like to arrange an earlier check-in. An extra booking fee may be required.

What is the latest I can Check-out?

Standard check-out time is 10am. Please call us if you would like to arrange a later check-out time. An extra booking fee may be required.

Can I arrive late?

Yes, please give us a call if you're wanting to arrive after 8pm.

Do you have off street parking?

Yes, there is ample parking, including room for work trucks and trailers.

Are your rooms non-smoking?

Yes, all rooms at Pooraka Motor Inn are non-smoking. There are ashtrays provided in the outdoor areas.

Do you have a restaurant or room service?

No, the rooms have guest books which show local eateries for both eat in, take away or delivery.

Do you have wireless internet in guest rooms?

Yes, the code for the wireless internet is available upon check in and is noted in the guest books.

How close are you to the shops?

There are 3 service station/mini marts within 1 to 5 min walks. The nearest supermarket is 5 mins drive and there are big shopping centres within 15 mins.

How close are you to restaurants?

There are restaurants just a few doors up, or you can take a short 6 min drive to Mawson Lakes, where there are multiple options across from the lake. Please visit Google Maps for a detailed list. Our guest books also include current menus and other options.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to check in date and time. Cancellations received less than 48 hours, the full amount for the first cancelled night will be charged.

How do I guarantee my booking?

Credit card details are required to secure a room booking or a $100 cash bond.

Do I have to pay a room deposit, on top of my room price?

Yes, a $100 room deposit is required. You can pay by cash or credit. The deposit will be reimbursed after a room inspection at Check-out.
